Promotional Booklet, Copywriting & Poster Design
IMC are an emergency response charity. They are the first to offer aid and supplies to countries that have experienced natural disasters, famine or warfare. IMC also provide a sustainable education program to help communities to recover.
IMC needed a cost-effective promotional item that could raise awareness of their work and encourage people to donate. We developed a small postcard sized booklet, with a detachable donation form in the back. The copy line on the front lampoons “How To Win Friends & Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.
IMC’s previous leaflets focused on images of war, famine and disaster. Sadly, people have become immune to these kind of tactics, so for the new booklet we used bright, daring colours and focused on the results of IMC’s work to show people the positive impact of their donations.
We also produced a poster for a photographic exhibition and tweaked the IMC brandmark, giving it a simple holding shape to help it stand out in any context.
